Enigma Veyron Amplifier

The Enigma Veyron Amplifier is a unique class A / AB proprietary circuitry, which is built in the solid aluminium Enigma Veyron Audio Rack. The selection of an ultra-high grade power supply, double audio transformers and silver/gold internal wiring, makes this amplifier a perfect match with the ultra high-end Enigma Veyron loudspeaker.

System features

The Enigma Veyron Amplifier is based on four centimetres thick aluminium plates and solid aluminium CNC machined pillars. All these aluminium parts are brushed and anodized in black, where the pillars are finished with Macassar and gold parts. 


A special feature for this amplifier is that each level is located on Diamonds, which is developed for a reason. When researching possibilities of increasing the three-dimensional staging and the layering of the music representation, we experienced that the smaller the actual contact surface becomes, the better the audio performance is. Due to the combination of Carborundum balls and a flat Diamond we were able to create a very small contact area but at the same time also carry the extreme high force put on the small contact area by the mass. By decreasing the contact area we freed the amplifier from vibrations from the ground or other levels. This increases the overall performance of the entire audio equipment.

One of the unique specifications of the Enigma Veyron amplifier is that the power supply is abundantly dimensioned: it is capable of delivering 80 Amps of DC power continuously with a buffer of 120.000 micro Farad. This is exactly the same as required for the maximum peak output power delivered by the amp.

Dimensions

The Enigma Veyron Amplifier is based on the modular Enigma Veyron Audio Rack, which can be stacked upon each other with a maximum of three levels in total. This restriction is required to limit the weight on the Diamond stands of the audio rack. The bottom level of the Audio Rack has a slight different dimension, because of the integration of floor protectors.
